The exterior architecture is something I was surprised to find out that I would enjoy. This almost worms eye view level is something I enjoyed crafting. The entire sketch was done in chalk. I used Greys, black, and white, to create a reflection in the glass windows. This sketch was inspired by a shot in the movie Dark Night. I wanted to create my own version with the sky being limitless.

This sketch was the second feature in my first class show. I put the pole in the foreground to make it more personal and help the viewer see where he or she is in relation to the building. I was inspired to by the scripture Revelation 21:21 “streets of gold”, hence the street names, Faith and Love.

Here is an outline of a three point perspective. I wanted to crate something where an image is in the foreground to create depth and understanding regarding the distance of the background.

Chalk was in this landscape. The sketch is the ocean at sunset. I was inspired to create something peaceful and beautiful without color. My favorite thing to draw is nature. The sketch took ten minutes to create

This perfume bottle is the second sketch I used for the two pieces in my final class show. I used the same amount of chalk as on the previous drawing. I smeared the bottom as I did other images to create a shadow. This created the illusion of the object sitting on something rather than floating.

This perfume I used as one of two pieces in my final class show. I used 5 different colors of chalk including grey values. I used a marker to darken the edges. I used white chalk to give highlight in places that would be considered reflective.

Here I began practicing the type of perfume bottle I wanted for a "sandy beach" look.

This sketch shows my effort to create a softer look on the bottle, rather than harsh jet blacks. I used chalk and pencil.

In the above sketch, used the same shell as the sketch as the previous perfume bottle sketches such as Sandy Beach. Here I used ebony pencil and marker. To make it more realistic, I smeared the bottom to create depth and shadow.
